Trekking 'Altay paths'

Duration - 8 days
Length - 100 km
The most favorable season: the second part of June - September.

Category of the route: it is non-categoric but the participants should be physically trained. The route containes two passes, Alpine meadows, legendary Belovodie, three mountain rivers, Kok-Kol waterfall.

PROGRAM OF THE TOUR

Day 1
Moving from Ust-Kamenogorsk to the initial point - 'Rakhmanov's Spring' sanatorium. (460 km)

Day 2
Passage through the pass 2300 m to the Ush-kol lake. One of the most beautiful view of the Rakhmanov's lake (7 km). Passage to mouth of the Arasan river. (15 km).

Day 3
The route holds along the Arasan river down to the Koksu lake and down the Koksu river (3 km). Fishing, spending the night.(15 km)

Day 4
Moving from the Koksu river to the Tikhy Pass and further to the Down camp. (20 km) If the weather is good it is possible to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Central Katunsky spine and the double-headed beauty Belukha mountain.

Day 5
Radial hike to the Berel glacier with return to the base camp and further to the bridge through the Berel river. (20 km)

Day 6
Trekking through Berel - the Black Berel river (20 km)

Day 7
Fishing, swimming, dinner, passage to the 'Rakhmanov's srings' (10 km)

Day 8
Departure to Ust-Kamenogorsk (460 km)
