Duration - 13 days Length - 116 km Category: the route of 1st category, participants should be physically trained. The route includes passage of two passes, wood, Alpine meadows, legendary Belovodye and 7 mountain rivers.
PROGRAM OF THE TOUR
Day 1 (10.08.04)
Transfer from Ust-Kamenogorsk to the initial point of the route - Yazevoye Lake (480 km, 12 hours).
Day 2 (11.08.04)
Trekking from Yazevoye Lake to the river Upper Kurgan. (15 km)
Day 3 (12.08.04)
Walking upwards the river Upper Kurgan. Staying at the meadow. (22 km)
Day 4 (13.08.04)
Passage to the lake.A night near the Nemytsky pass. (12 km)
Day 5 (14.08.04)
Ascent on the pass and descend to the Darashkol lake. (15 km)
Day 6 (15.08.04)
Staying for a day.
Day 7 (16.08.04)
Crossing the Ioldo-Ayry river. Route to the Kony-Ayry river. (10 km)
Day 8 (17.08.04)
Ascent to the Kapchalsky pass (3210 m). Passage through the center of the glacier to the Kapchal river valley. Descending to the Katun river (20 km)
Day 9 (18.08.04)
Radial walk to the Gebler glacier with visit of Rassypnoy waterfall.
Day 10 (19.08.04)
Route along the Katun river to the Yazevoe lake.
Days 11 - 12 (20.08.04г. - 21.08.04)
Celebrating program: actors' and singers' concerts and competition, by wish - visit of Berel archeological excavation, one day rafting down the Berel and Bukhtarma river, press conference.
Day 13 (22.08.04)
Departure from the base camp to Ust-Kamenogrosk.
